We are in network with Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico and then out-of-network for all other providers, meaning that we are not contracted with insurance companies directly except for Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico (not including Centennial plans). We submit claims to your insurance on your behalf when applicable.
Majority of our clients have insurance, at Pure Movement we do bill your insurance (when possible) to maximize your benefits. All insurance plans are different with coverage and benefits varying differently and we will work with you and your insurance coverage to maximize your financial coverage. All of our clients choose to use us for our simple and effective treatments to solve their problems. This allows us to better serve you and your needs while both maximizing your insurance coverage and providing the care that you need. In this type of model patients get better results faster with a highly efficient and effective treatment experience along with most individuals saving time, money and frustration while achieving the results they are looking for in the first place.

We treat the vast majority of diagnoses that involve the muscle(s), tendon(s), joints, nerves and bones in the body that can result in pain or movement dysfunction. Do I Need a Referral?
No.
The state of New Mexico is a Direct Access State. Meaning that you do not need a prescription from a physician prior to being seen by Pure Movement unless required by your insurance for coverage.
What makes Pure Movement treatments different?
Pure Movement is not like any other healthcare or physical therapy clinic. First off our direct focus is you 100% of the time working one-on-one in your environment of choice with a distinguished and highly skilled Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist with the latest evidence based techniques. Most clients appointments are for 1 hour, but if you would like longer no problem to schedule extra time in to fit your unique rehab or schedules demands.
You will never be passed off to another aid or technician to be taken through treatments or rushed at the end of your appointment so the therapist can get to the next appointment. This allows us to get to know each other better and find the root cause of your problems much quicker, implement an individualized treatment plan tailored to you and your unique characteristics and return you back to moving through life without interruptions faster.
